This Gateway Park Office building consists of 2B + GF + 11 Floors + Terrace. Basements are common for all three blocks A2, A3 & A4 which is separated by Expansion joint. The building under consideration is for Block A3.
The preliminary review for block A3 was carried out based on the analysis model received from principal consultant which is developed based on proposed structural system. From the results it was evident that the building performance under serviceability does not comply with major codal requirements which will have implication on adopted structural system.
Hence, in the fact of the results whereby the values exceeds permissible limits. The principal advised to address and fix these areas of concerns and resubmit the revised model for further verification and approval. It was to be noted that the current review is limited to serviceability performance only. The chapters such as gravity and lateral load paths, various structural element design adequacy, loads at foundation level etc was reviewed based on revised model incorporating all the comments issued principal consultant.
